What makes TraceSCAN better than other Contact Tracing Wearables
According to The Global and Mail “The struggle is real to maintain COVID-19 contact tracing among the community ”.
All around the world, the ease of spread of COVID19’s various strains has strained and crippled traditional contact tracing efforts. Recognizing this, the Ontario government has announced an investment of $2.5Million in the wearables industry through Facedrive, a leading contact tracing solution that is based out of Ontario. These wearables allow the users to simply wear the device where it will automatically communicate with the other devices that are within range.
TraceSCAN’s next-generation device will also enable features such as access control, payments, oxygen levels, monitoring heart rate and body temperature. With all this technology that gives TraceSCAN utility in many industries, one thing it does not do is it does not track your location!
TraceSCAN’s wearables can be worn anywhere especially in places where there is a limit to the usage of cell phones for an employee for safety or other reasons. Tracescan’s contact tracing platform includes AI technology that not only helps to accurately lead to the prediction of new cases but also provides alerts for potential isolation. It uses optimized Bluetooth 5.0 signals that exchange short-distance signals between the devices and can be set to alert the user if they are less than six feet apart. Moreover, features like social distancing notification, personal social distancing score, and a battery life of up to 14 days is just the icing on the cake.
The main reason behind designing this wearable technology is to attenuate the spread of COVID-19 especially in places such as schools, airlines, long-term care homes, construction sites, etc thus adding an extra layer of safety and helping to stop further contamination. Eager to return to normal life 56% of the Canadian are willing to use technology because of which the government is constantly joining hands with innovative minds to use the technology to help the province to battle with the current outbreak of COVID-19.
